Office of International Initiatives

Welcome to the Office of International Initiatives. Our primary objective is to serve as the central records office and resource center for Fordham University’s global and international institutional affiliations. The Office both initiates and assists faculty as well as individual units of the university in developing new proposals and in shepherding them through their initial conceptual stages to fully executed formal agreements. Part of this process involves the participation of the International Initiatives Advisory Group, whose members are deans of various Fordham schools, and the assistance of University Counsel. This procedure ensures that all agreements are properly vetted for academic rigor and conformity with Fordham’s mission on the one hand and that the university is protected against inappropriate risk on the other.

We invite you to explore more specific information on study abroad opportunities and short-term faculty-led study abroad courses by clicking on the links to the left, especially ISAP (International and Study Abroad Programs).

If you would like additional information or if we can be of any assistance, please stop by, call or send us an e-mail.
